Brief Profile
Prachi Jain has completed her PhD in Finance and Accounting from the Indian Institute of Management Indore. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi. Her thesis is primarily focussed on analysing the linkages in the Global Commodities Market using network and copula-based models. She has publications in journals of international repute (Energy Economics, Journal of Commodities Market, Global Finance Journal) to her credit. Prachi has also been one of the six recipients of the prestigious NSE-NYU grant for research in the Indian Financial Markets in 2021. Her research interests include- Commodities market, Market microstructure, and Corporate Finance. Her teaching interests include- Accounting, Financial markets and institutions, Corporate Finance, Portfolio risk management using R.
