Dr. Rahul Mishra holds the position of Assistant Professor in the area of Operations Management at IMT Ghaziabad. He completed his PhD from the esteemed Indian Institute of Management in Mumbai, specializing in developing sustainable supply chains and integrating them with renewable energy sources.
With a profound understanding of complex environmental challenges, Dr. Mishra has showcased his expertise through notable publications in esteemed journals such as Annals of Operation Research and Journal of Cleaner Production. His research primarily focuses on crafting sustainable supply chains by incorporating renewable energy sources and circular economy principles. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Mishra has played a pivotal role in leading consultancy projects with prestigious organizations including RMI, Nestle, and the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) as an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) fellow. He served as a visiting faculty member at NMIMS Mumbai and has previous academic experience as well. Dr. Mishra’s approach, which seamlessly blends research, consultancy, and education, underscores his unwavering dedication to advancing environmental sustainability.
