MSc Data Management

The MSc Data Management is an international study pathway designed for students seeking careers in data analytics, AI, and data-driven decision-making, with global exposure. Students complete Year 1 at IMT Ghaziabad (India) and Year 2 at Aivancity (France), subject to meeting the required academic and eligibility criteria. On successful completion of both years, students will be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate Program from IMT Ghaziabad, followed by the MSc Data Management from Aivancity. This collaboration brings together IMT’s academic rigor and Aivancity’s specialized expertise in data and AI education to prepare learners for careers in analytics, consulting, technology, and other data-driven business roles.

Foundation Program (Paris)

Duration: 15 days, full-time

Mandatory academic and cultural induction at aivancity Paris. Includes coursework in Data/AI and orientation to French higher education.

Year 1 (IMT Ghaziabad)

1. What is the MSc Data Management program?

The MSc Data Management is a 1+1 international dual-credential program offered jointly by IMT Ghaziabad (India) and Aivancity School of AI & Data, France. Students study in India in Year 1 and in France in Year 2, earning an MSc degree from Aivancity and a certificate from IMT Ghaziabad.

2. What is the duration of the program?

The total duration is 2 years (120 ECTS credits): Foundation program in France (~15 days), Year 1 at IMT Ghaziabad, and Year 2 at aivancity, France.

3. What degree will I receive after completion?

Students will receive: MSc degree from aivancity, France, and a Certificate from IMT Ghaziabad.

4. What are the eligibility criteria?

Applicants should have: A 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, Economics, IT, CS, etc.), interest in data, analytics, or technology, good communication skills, and academic performance suitable for postgraduate study.

5. Do students need to know coding before joining?

Basic knowledge of mathematics, statistics, or computing is helpful, but advanced coding is not mandatory. The program starts with foundational courses in Python, statistics, and data analysis.

6. Is the foundation program in France compulsory?

Yes. Students must attend the short foundation program at aivancity before starting Year 1. It includes academic orientation and an introduction to AI, Data, and the French academic system.
