MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

Professor

PhD or equivalent in Management or allied area, a record of excellence in academics for a minimum of 10 years, of which at least 6 years should be at the level of Associate Professor; ability to interact with a diverse student body and a record of publications in standard refereed journals, and ability to undertake research independently and guide PhD scholars. He/she should have high research, training and consulting credentials.

Associate Professor

PhD or equivalent in Management or allied area, with a minimum of 8 years of experience, of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, and the ability to interact with a diverse student body and the ability to undertake research independently.

Assistant Professor

PhD or equivalent in Management or allied areas, with at least 3 years of industry/research/academic experience, and the ability to interact with a diverse student body. However, in case of PhD/FPM from IIM or any reputed university/institute, the list of which is enclosed vide Annexure-VI, the experience requirement of 3 years may be reduced to 2 years. Candidates who have completed their PhD/FPM from these institutions with less than two years of experience or who have submitted their thesis may also be considered for appointment.

For all regular faculty positions, a high potential/proven track record for publications in high-quality journals impact journals and teaching effectiveness, positive professional attitude and high ethical Standard will be an essential requirement.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

  • The Institute encourages interaction of the faculty with industry, other research and professional institutions. Consultancy is encouraged at IMT Ghaziabad and liberal consultancy policies are in practice.
  • Facilities for research and development activities exist in all the areas of management. Good facilities also exist for computing. The Institute has a well-stocked library with large number of books, journals, reports, e-books, and databases.
