Brief Profile
Dr. Prerna Panda has a PhD in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management from Indian Institute of Management Raipur. Her thesis examined determinants and outcomes of employee resilience and agility in the Indian information technology sector employing a multimethod research design. The extensive study underscored the role of reverse mentoring, job crafting, and organizational virtuousness in fostering employee resilience, agility, and consequently enhancing work and well-being outcomes.
She has presented her work at conferences such as the British Academy of Management, National Positive Psychology Association, and participated in summer school on Uncertainty at work, for which she received travel bursary from ETH Zurich. A qualitative project undertaken by her was awarded the best paper in doctoral symposium at the MDIM Conference 2021. A paper from her thesis received the best paper award at the 2nd International Conference on Positive Psychology 2024. She was a visiting researcher at the Faculty of Work and Organizational Sociology, TU Dortmund as a part of the Ruhr Research Explorer program 2024. Prior to joining IMT, she was working at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad as a research assistant on leadership development, HPWS, and senior executive women’s projects.
