
Brief Profile
Dr. Fehmina Malik is currently an Assistant Professor in the Business Analytics area at IMT Ghaziabad. She previously held a postdoctoral research position at the University of Avignon, France, where her work focused on explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). Before this, she served as an Assistant Professor at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi, for two years.
Her teaching interests span both Operations Research and Artificial Intelligence, covering subjects such as management science, stochastic modeling, time series forecasting, machine learning, Data analytics and AI, and explainable AI—including fairness and interpretability.
Dr. Malik holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from IIT Bombay. She also earned an M.Phil. and M.Sc. in Operational Research from the University of Delhi, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Miranda House, University of Delhi.
