Dr. Asit Tripathy is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, India. He earned his PhD in Operations Management from Indian Institute of Management Kashipur. His doctoral dissertation focuses on designing and analyzing product take-back policy instruments to understand the effect of the take-back legislation on businesses, consumers, and the environment. Asit’s primary research interest is designing supply chain and policy interventions that help solve real-world challenges with social and environmental impact. His research papers have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Computers and Industrial Engineering Journal, Production Planning & Control, Business Strategy and the Environment. He has presented his research at various national and international conferences, including POMS, DSI, INFORMS, IEEE, and SOM.
