
Brief Profile
Prof. Anjali Malik has been a Professor of Marketing with more than twenty-four years of teaching, training, research, and industry experience. After spending a couple of years in the industry, she transitioned into Academia in 2003. Prof. Malik is working with IMT Ghaziabad as Associate Dean (International Relations and Rankings) has previously worked with various institutions of repute including Bennett University, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, IILM and Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management. She has also taught courses at IIM Rohtak and IIM Lucknow as a visiting faculty.
With a doctoral degree in Marketing from University Business School, Chandigarh, Prof. Malik’s core teaching areas include Marketing Strategy, Services Marketing, CRM, and Consumer Behaviour. Her research interests lie within Consumer Behaviour. Her work is published in category journals like Young Consumers, International Journal of Electronic Business, International Journal of Business and Emerging Markets, International Journal of Indian Culture and Business, South Asian Journal of Management, Metamorphosis (Journals of IIM-L) and others. Her previous academic administrative experiences include Program Head at the Executive, MBA, and Doctoral program levels. She had also been spearheading AACSB, NAAC and SAQs initiatives at some of her previous organisations and was also in charge of examinations at the University level. She is also a certified peer reviewer for AMDISA (Association for Management Development Institutes in South Asia).

Research Interests
Research interest lies within Consumer Behaviour and topics related to the agenda of Transformative Consumer Research (sustainable marketing, counterfeiting, excessive online gaming consumption, dark tourism, ecotourism).
MDP/Executive Education
Conducted training sessions in various MDPs and Executive Education Programmes for leading corporate organisations and business associations such as EIL, IBM, Airtel, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Gurgaon PHDCCI, Delhi, Rajya Sabha and others on topics like CRM, Marketing Strategy, Customer Satisfaction, Integrated Marketing Communications. She also conducts sessions for academic institutions on topics related to Assurance of learning (AOL) and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
