Dr. Anand Jhawar is an Assistant Professor (Marketing) at Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad, India. He is a Ph.D from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India. He holds a master’s degree (Management) from Indian Institute of Management Raipur, India. He has corporate work experience in Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd., Birla Gold Cement (Aditya Birla Group), ICICI Bank Ltd. and IPAC (in a political consulting role). He has also presented his research work in international marketing conferences like ANZMAC (in Australia) and ICRTH (in Indonesia). He has published in journals like Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Consumer Marketing, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Journal of Vacation Marketing, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Management Review Quarterly, Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science, and Young Consumers. His research interests are in the domain of influencer marketing, anti-consumption, green marketing, brand management, tourism research, sales and distribution management, B2B marketing. He has been teaching courses like Product and Brand Management, B2B Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Consumer Behaviour, Integrated Marketing Communications. He has also conducted management development program for Navitasys LLP. He has delivered several consulting assignments for private and public organizations like Himalaya Wellness Limited, Bata India, Department of Industries & Commerce (Govt. of Assam, India).
