Prof. Abhinav earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in the year 2023. Following his doctoral studies, he served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Goa Institute of Management for over two years. His research interests are broadly in the areas of behavioral corporate finance, managerial discretionary decisions and corporate governance issues. Prof. Sharma holds postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in Economics and has prior industry experience of more than one year in the Marketing Analytics division at Genpact India.
