Dr Arijit De is a Former Assistant Professor at The University of Manchester. He is a Management Science Lecturer and Operations Research Scientist. Arijit has authored in a number of technical papers in International Journals (peer-reviewed) such as the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Expert Systems with Applications and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. Arijit is also serving as a reviewer for several renowned International Journals.

Arijit De received his PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering and M.Tech in Industrial Engineering and Management. Previously Arijit was associated as a Co-Investigator – Operations Research Expert with VALUMICS_H2020. He also worked as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Operations Management at Newcastle University Business School, Newcastle University. Prior to this, Arijit De worked as a researcher in the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University. Furthermore, he worked at the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, The University of Hong Kong.
