Mark Roadies: Mark Roadies is MarkUp’s marketing event designed for first-year B-school students. The competition aims to identify talented marketing minds and encourage creative solutions to practical business challenges. It seeks to provide an opportunity for students to gain experience while also preparing for future corporate case challenges, helping them develop valuable skills in the business world.
Ad-O-Holic: Ad-O-Holic is an advertising competition held on campus. It attracts students from various business schools like MDI, IIM-Indore, IIM-Shillong, IIT Delhi DMS, and IIM-Ranchi. Participants create advertisements to solve marketing problems, testing their creativity along with problem-solving skills. The event gives aspiring marketers a platform to demonstrate their abilities in crafting effective ad concepts.
Eureka Effect: Eureka Effect is the kickoff event for the Marketing World Cup, featuring a panel discussion with professionals from various industries. They share insights on current marketing trends and challenges. Students have the chance to ask questions and participate in the discussion. The event also offers a few prizes from sponsors and concludes with announcing the Marketing World Cup trophies, marking the opening of registrations. It’s a practical introduction to the competition, giving aspiring marketers an early look into the journey ahead.
Marketing World Cup: The Marketing World Cup (MWC), organised by MarkUp, is a significant marketing competition in India, ranking second in Asia. This 48-hour event attracts students from top business schools, including IIMs, FMS, MDI, IITs, SPJIMR, and NITIE. Participants engage in case studies and impromptu challenges, solving real-world marketing problems. MWC offers opportunities for aspiring marketers to demonstrate their skills, network with industry professionals, and compete in various marketing-related events. The competition aims to foster innovation along with strategic thinking among business school students.
