Application Form
1. When does the application form open?
The application form for Common Admissions 2024 is currently open. To fill out the application form, click here.
2. Can we apply into IMT without CAT/XAT or GMAT?
CAT 2023/XAT 2024 or GMAT (January 1, 2020 – January 25, 2024) is mandatory for IMT Ghaziabad and CAT 2023/ XAT 2024/ CMAT 2024/ GMAT (January 1, 2020 – January 25, 2024) is mandatory for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad. You may apply into IMT Common application form without the test scores till the results are released for either of the exam accepted. The last date to upload the test scores will be shared in due course of time.
3. How do I make the application fee payment?
The application processing fee is INR 3500 plus applicable bank charges. You can pay the application fees online through the admission portal using the following:

4. Is a separate application required for a profile-based shortlist?
No. There is only one application form to be filled out in order to apply to the Two year PGDM programs at IMT Campuses.
5. Whom should I contact for application status queries?

6. Is there one Common Application Form for all campuses? Do I have to individually list the campuses I am interested in?
Yes, there is a single application form for all IMT campuses, including Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Dubai. You are required to specify a minimum of two campus preferences, but you have the option to list all four campuses. The final campus assignment will be communicated to you when the final admission offer is extended.
7. Do I need to fill out separate applications for different programs?
No, you can specify your specialization preferences within the same application form. There is no need for a separate application.
8. How do we submit copies of CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT scores?
- The candidate’s CAT score will undergo a thorough verification process against the official CAT score obtained from the test conducting center.
- For candidates applying based on GMAT who haven’t provided their scores, their application will be processed provisionally. However, this is subject to IMT receiving their official GMAT score on or before January 25th, 2024. Once the candidates receive their offer of admission from the Institute, they must share their official GMAT scores through the Official GMAT website, mba.com, as a mandatory requirement.
- The candidate’s XAT score will undergo a thorough verification process against the official XAT score obtained from the test conducting center.
- The CMAT scorecard should be provided by the candidate.
- The institution reserves the right to cancel an applicant’s admission or admission process if incorrect information is found to be furnished.
- Admission will be provisional based on scanned transcripts (PDF, JPEG, Word, etc.). Original documents must match uploaded documents at the time of registration. Non-compliance cancels the application and forfeits fees.
9. Is application fee refundable?
No, the application fee is not refundable.
Admissions
1. What is the eligibility criteria for Two year PGDM programs?
The applicants need to have completed a minimum of three years of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a requirement of securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. Additionally, they should provide scores from either CAT (2023), XAT (2024), or GMAT (between January 1, 2020, and January 25, 2024) to be considered for admission.
For IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad Campus, candidates have the option to submit their CMAT (2024) scores.
2. What is the program fee?

3. Is there any management or Institution quota in admissions at IMT Ghaziabad?
The admissions process at IMT is entirely merit-based, and there is no management or institutional quota.
4. Is it a residential program?
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a 2-year full-time residential program. It is mandatory for all students to reside on campus.
5. Is it necessary to have work experience to apply for the program?
No, work experience is not a necessary criterion for applying to the program.
Additional Questions
1. If I have made any mistake(s) while applying at IMT, can I make changes later to rectify?
Yes, you can revise your application details, except for the candidate’s name by logging into the IMT Admissions Portal, The ‘Edit Option’ shall be open for a limited time for each candidate; kindly ensure to fill in the correct details at the application stage.
2. Can I fill in more than one application and appear more than once in the selection process?
No, participating in the IMT selection process multiple times is not permitted and is regarded as a fraudulent activity. To confirm this, your identification document will be scrutinized during the selection process and final registration.
3. When will document verification take place?
Document verification will take place during the later stages of the admission process. You will be notified about the specific document submission requirements and deadlines.
4. How do I get a loan?

5. Is there any scholarship available?

6. Are there offline processes?
The Common Admissions 2024 process will be conducted OFFLINE at specific locations. Students from locations other than these centers will have to travel to any of these locations to appear for the interview.
