REGISTER ONLINE

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and hierarchical regression modelling are advanced multivariate statistical techniques that is widely used in behavioral and social sciences research. This combines both confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis to examine the complex relationships among various observed and unobserved (latent) variables. This workshop will enable participants to explore and analyze their own research practices systematically and utilize these techniques effectively in their various research endeavors.

OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP

The two-day workshop is designed to provide hands-on training to develop and test models using SEM and hierarchical regression modelling (Software: AMOS, SPSS, SPSS-Macro and R-lavaan package).

CONTENTS

  • Introduction to SEM: Covariance-based SEM and PLS-SEM
  • Testing of Assumptions and Addressing Common-Method Bias
  • Addressing Endogeneity and Non-Response Bias
  • Validity and Reliability Testing
  • Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Model Fit Indices
  • Mediation, Moderation and Interaction Effects
  • Multi-Group Analysis (Measurement Invariance Analysis)
  • Moderated-mediation Analysis using Hierarchical Regression Analysis
  • Conditional Indirect Effects

METHODOLOGY

The methodology would include discussion, demonstration and hands-on experience with software.
