Application Form
1. When does the application form open?
The common application form for IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad is currently open. To fill out the application form, click here.
2. Do we need to fill out a separate form for all three campuses of IMT?
There is a common application form opened for IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur, and IMT Hyderabad, where you can indicate your campus preferences while applying. If you have submitted the IMT common application form, you do not need to fill out separate application forms for IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad.
3. For which programs can I apply through this form?
The common application is open for all the two-year PGDM programs of IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad. You can apply to the below programs for the respective campus.

4. If I have made any mistake(s) while applying at IMT, can I make changes later to rectify them?
You can revise your application details, except for the candidate’s name and email address, by logging into the IMT Admissions Portal. The application form will remain editable for a specified period of time before the CTPI process.
5. Can I change the centre of CTPI (Critical Thinking and Personal Interview) in the application form?
Applicants are required to select two CTPI centre preferences from the drop-down list while filling the application form for the PI process in February 2026. The centre selection fields will remain editable for a limited period. IMT will make every effort to allocate the applicant’s first preferred centre. However, if the slots are unavailable at the first preference, the second preferred centre will be allotted.
6. What is the deadline to apply at IMT?
The application deadline has not been announced yet. Candidates are strongly advised to complete their application and pay the application fee at the earliest, instead of waiting for the deadline, to avoid last-minute delays.
7. Can we change the preference of specialization after submitting the form?
The form edit option is available for a limited time, allowing you to change the form within a specific period.
8. Is it mandatory to share the personal bank account details at the time of application?
Yes, candidates are required to provide their personal bank account details at the time of application. These details are collected only to facilitate a refund in case a duplicate transaction is recorded in IMT’s account.
9. How do I make the application fee payment?
The application processing fee is INR 3500 plus applicable bank charges. You can pay the application fees online through the admission portal using the following: Net Banking; Debit / Credit Card; UPI
10. What is the refund policy for the application fees?
The application fee is non-refundable.
11. Which test is applicable for applying to IMT?
*The CMAT 2026 test is applicable only to the IMT Nagpur campus.
12. How do we submit copies of CAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT scores?
• After submitting the test scores on the portal, IMT will verify CAT 2025 and XAT 2026 scores directly with the respective testing agencies.
• For GMAT, candidates must request GMAC to send their official scores to IMT. The scores should reach IMT no later than January 15, 2026.
• CMAT 2026 scores should be uploaded directly by the candidates on the IMT Admissions Portal.
13. Can I fill in multiple applications and appear more than once in the selection process?
No, participating in the IMT selection process multiple times is not permitted and is considered fraudulent. Your identification document will be scrutinized during the selection process and final registration to confirm this.
14. Is it necessary to have work experience to apply for the programme?
No, work experience is not mandatory to apply to the program.
15. Who can we contact for any changes in the application form?

16. What documents are required to be uploaded in profile detail form?
You are required to upload your academic documents, including 10th, 12th, graduation marksheets and professional qualification, along with the official percentage conversion formula or factor, wherever applicable. For work experience supporting documents such as tenure proofs, designation details, and experience/ relieving certificates will be needed. After submitting the common application form, you are advised to wait for further communication from the Admissions Department.
17. What is the deadline to upload the documents in Profile details form?
The Profile Detail (PD) form must be submitted before the application deadline, which will be announced in due course. Candidates are strongly advised to complete and submit the PD form immediately after successfully submitting the common application form, as applications without a submitted PD form will not be considered for shortlisting.

Admissions
1. When is the interview conducted for IMT?
The Critical Test and Personal interview process is tentatively conducted in February and March.
2. Will the interview be offline or online?
IMT will conduct offline interviews across India. The interview locations can be checked on the admissions page. Students from locations other than these centres will have to travel to any location to appear for the interview.
3. What will be the shortlisting process for IMT?
IMT evaluates candidates holistically, taking into account consistent academic performance in 10th, 12th and graduation, performance in the recommended competitive exams, and the quality of work experience or professional qualifications, or entrepreneurial experience, wherever applicable. The overall profile is reviewed in detail to ensure sustained commitment and continuity across academic and professional pursuits.
4. Is there any sectional cut-off while shortlisting applicants for the CTPI?
No, there is no sectional cut-off for shortlisting applicants for the CTPI process.
5. How is the composite score for the final selection calculated?
The composite score for IMT Ghaziabad’s final selection includes academic performance, past academics, diversity, work experience, CT/PI performance, and scores in competitive exams. Each factor is weighed to determine the final selection offers.
6. Once assigned to any course, what are the chances of changing it to a preferred one?
There is no provision to change your course after admission.
7. What is the refund policy for fees paid, and what procedure is followed?
The institute adheres to AICTE guidelines for refund policies. For further details, please refer the AICTE academic calendar and handbook.
8. Is there any management or Institutional quota for admissions at IMT Ghaziabad?
The admissions process at IMT is entirely merit-based, and there is no management or institutional quota.
9. Is it mandatory to stay on campus?
The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a 2-year full-time residential programme. It is mandatory for all students to reside on campus.

Additional Questions
1. What kind of accommodation is available for students?
Students are typically assigned double-sharing accommodation. However, a single accommodation, such as medical needs, may be provided in exceptional cases. All rooms have air conditioning, a study table, a chair, and cupboards.
2. How does IMT support students interested in entrepreneurship?
IMT supports aspiring entrepreneurs through its E-Cell (Entrepreneurship Cell), offering workshops, mentorship, networking events, and funding opportunities to help students develop and launch their business ideas.
3. What are the mental health and counselling services available on campus?
IMT offers on-campus counselling services. Professional counsellors are available to support students’ mental well-being.
4. What measures are in place to prevent ragging, and how does the college ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students?
Ragging is strictly prohibited at all IMT campuses. Any incidents of ragging are met with strict disciplinary action to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
5. What medical facilities and support are available on campus for students?
IMT Ghaziabad has a clinic on campus that provides medicines for common health issues.
6. How does IMT handle students' networking opportunities?
IMT facilitates networking through industry meets, guest lectures, alumni events, and student exchange programs. The campus also hosts conferences and seminars where students interact with industry professionals.
