HRuday started in 2005 with the aim of supplementing our institute’s efforts in creating industrious and adept HR professionals. HRuday was rebranded in year 2016 and renamed as “ASBA HR & OB Committee”.
To stand as the interface between the students and the corporate world, to imbibe and strengthen people management and leadership competencies.
The mission of Team HRuday is to bring the best out of each student by honing their people management skills and organizational behaviour to make them corporate-ready. The course of action is to hold an HR conclave annually to bridge the gap between student’s expectations and corporate realities, to release a quarterly newsletter to give insights about internship and placement, and to organise events likes of GD Forum to brush up students’ skills required in their professional career.
Ace D’ Case:
The academic year of HRuday starts with Ace d’ Case, an interactive session between seniors and juniors, each year, the seniors who have participated in various B-school competitions share their insights and learnings with the juniors. It is an attempt to provide a base to the junior batch for selection of specializations and summer placement preparations, guidance on deciphering the case studies primarily. HRuday conducts Ace d’ Case, an interactive session among seniors and juniors to bring clarity in junior’s thought process. The seniors talk about what should individual do before making team for competitions, types of efforts required to win the competitions, what each specialization is all about, the careers available, ‘what’ and ‘how’ to prepare for internship process, the kinds of companies and profiles which come on the campus.
The mock Group Discussion sessions are organized for the entire batch of junior students before their summer placements in September every year. They are aimed at rendering valuable feedback on personsl etiquettes, manner of speaking, body language and quality of content to the students which would immensely help them in improving their performance during placements. As a part of the event, personal interviews are also conducted to evaluate their levels of preparation. The juniors receive guidance from professors and seniors.
