The Admissions Committee at IMT Ghaziabad is a student coordinated association committed to introducing diversity along with improving the quality of future IMTians through several initiatives conducted by the team. The admission process of IMT Ghaziabad is one of the most challenging and engaging processes testing the wits and will of all the aspirants. Every student who dreams of wearing the IMT tag will need to overcome this hurdle.  We are the frontline team and in charge of guiding the journey of every aspirant   

The Committee acts as a liaison between the applicants and the institute, and through tireless efforts, facilitates the admissions process in the most seamless manner possible.  

We also take pride in engaging with and mentoring the aspirants in person as well as through our social media platforms. We cover a variety of topics, from tips for competitive exam preparation to stories of IMT Ghaziabad happenings. These channels ensure the visibility of major IMT Ghaziabad events to the students.  

Furthermore, we also engage in direct interaction with aspirants through city meets held at various locations across the country. This is done to ensure queries are addressed regarding management studies and the admission process and primarily build and showcase the brand ‘IMT’ across India. We make the interactions more fruitful and red tapes easier.  

To further this objective, we conduct events targeting undergraduate students who may consider a career in management and will be potential applicants for IMT. The events are designed to provide the participants with a flavour and trailer into the life of a typical B-school student.  

Our Initiatives:  

Exam Prep Series: We also roll out testimonials of high-performing CAT and XAT college students of the institute to help the aspirants prepare for these entrance exams. Our exemplary batch of students at IMT provides tips and tricks that help them crack the competitive exams and secure admissions with the institute. The last mile program offers the much-needed finishing touch to the candidate’s preparations.  

Webinar Series: Regular posts on the Admissions Committee’s Facebook and Instagram pages feature students and faculty at IMT Ghaziabad. The topics range from preparation for CAT, admissions process, adoption of the ‘new normal,’ impact of the pandemic across industries, and even choosing the correct specialisation in Management Studies. The program helps in shaping the dreams and interests of the aspirant. The series comprehensively covers the entire roadmap for an MBA aspirant.  

InsideIIM and other MBA platforms: We showcase the various aspects of IMT apart from its academics and placements to the potential MBA aspirants, such as the Foreign Exchange program, Cultural and Sports events, and testimonials of winners of B-school Competitions.  

#IMTheFuture: An outreach program in the form of a competition to give participants nationwide a sneak peek into the B-School life at IMT. We provide a selected group of undergraduate students a tour of the Ghaziabad campus by inviting them to stay with us for a 2-day event consisting of several fun activities and management-related competitions to simulate a typical day in B-schools around India. We invite faculty and alumni of IMT to interact with the students and share experiences that helped them succeed in life.  

Admissions Process: The team facilitates, coordinates, and manages the admissions process through numerous Indian centres. This also allows us to assist and guide the applicants, not just about the admissions process but also about life at IMT. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the process will take place virtually in 2021, and the candidates will be able to attend the process from the comfort and safety of their home.
