IMTG has been consistently ranked among the top management institutes of the country. Today, it is the proud alma mater of more than 1000 C–suite executives and thousands of professionals serving in leadership positions in the best known organisations in India and around the world, in key business functions of Sales, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Consulting, Information Technology, Marketing, and Finance among others.

About the Conference:

Much of the world’s economic production revolves around a complex network of interconnected supply networks. Supply chains assist the manufacturing of everything from computers and automobiles to life-saving pharmaceuticals and food, and they underpin global trade in items worth about $20 trillion every year. The COVID-19 problem, post-pandemic economic repercussions, acute weather occurrences, and the recent conflict in Ukraine have all highlighted the vulnerability of today’s global supply networks. In the context of the global COVID-19 epidemic as well as severe weather events, concerns concerning supply-chain risks and resilience are being highlighted. As climate change increases the frequency and/or severity of extreme weather, the annual occurrence of events that are more intense than manufacturing assets is designed to resist rises, raising the likelihood of supply-chain disruptions.

Supply chain leaders are now in an unfamiliar situation, with a once-in-a-generation chance to future-proof their supply networks. They can accomplish this by recognizing the three new goals, including resilience, agility, and responsibility, in addition to the function’s conventional aims of cost/capital, quality, and service, and revamping their supply chains accordingly. This is the moment to discuss and learn the lessons, as well as plan for a new approach of managing supply chain success. Thus, SOM 2024 aims to identify challenges, opportunities, strategies, and capabilities that can assist not only supply chain leaders but also scholars working in the field of decision-making under various uncertainties in order to manage supply chain operations effectively.

Hence, we propose an international conference on the theme

Theme: “Reinventing Future supply chains through climate adaption, agility and responsibility”.

Doctoral Colloquium:

SOM 2024 provides a knowledge-sharing platform that allows scholars and industry practitioners to exchange and share their ideas and information, thereby assisting organisations in becoming more sustainable and resilient. The DC provides a unique opportunity for doctoral candidates to present their research, receive valuable comments from eminent scholars, and engage in engaging discussions with peers from other domains.

Awards: An Award will be given to the best paper which will be judged by the committee.
