Dr Sachin Modgil (PhD) is a former assistant professor at IMI Kolkata (India) in the area of Operations and Supply Chain. He has earned his PhD from NITIE, Mumbai, India, in the domain of technology and operations management. His areas of interest include big data, artificial intelligence, supply chain management, sustainable operations and production management, lean management, operations and strategy control. He has more than eight years of experience in industry and academia. He has conducted several MDPs and FDPs in the operations management domain and has published research papers in leading academic journals. He actively publishes, presents and participates in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He has also served as a reviewer and editorial board member for international journals of reputed publishers from Elsevier, Emerald, Sage and Inderscience.
