IMT GHAZIABAD LIBRARY is pleased to announce the 21st MANLIBNET International Conference on “Empowering Libraries, Connecting Communities: Innovation, Collaboration, and Entrepreneurship.” IMTG and MANLIBNET strongly advocates the pertinence of libraries: especially academic and public libraries in relentlessly adapting and evolving with the times. This unique conference will not only allow learning about advanced technology and services in library and information science, but the stakeholders will also get opportunities to learn about entrepreneurship and collaboration with the community and society. In our fast-paced, technology-driven world, it is vital to stay up to date on advances in the fields of library and information science. This conference provides a platform for the best way to spark innovative ideas and gain insights by meeting and learning from peers. The MANLIBNET 2023 International Conference is structured to bring together Creative, Academic, and Corporate experts in library science. The professionals may exchange their views and experiences on thinking beyond the box to help contemporary library professionals, libraries, and knowledge resource centres.

The conference seeks to inspire attendees to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and embrace entrepreneurship in order to empower libraries and connect communities. The objectives of the conference are to:
- Encourage people to think outside the box and look for new and creative ways to help academic libraries, public libraries etc. and bring people together;
- Highlight the importance of collaboration between libraries, library professionals, and other organizations in order to effectively serve communities and meet their needs;
- Inspire attendees to embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and embrace new opportunities for libraries to drive change and growth;
- Demonstrate how libraries can empower communities by providing access to information, resources, and programs that support lifelong learning and professional growth; and,
- Highlight the role of libraries as community hubs that bring people together and foster connections between individuals, organizations, and communities.

All the authors are required to adhere to the following conference guidelines:
- An abstract of approximately 500 words must be submitted on or before the abstract submission deadline.
- The author(s) should send the full paper only after the abstract has been approved.
- The paper is approximately 5000 words long with single spacing in Times New Roman 12 font size.
- The paper should highlight the current trends/issues.
- The paper should be submitted in Word format only.
- The first page should contain title, author(s) name(s), contact details of all authors, an abstract of 500 words, and keywords.
- The second page should have the paper’s title followed by the text.
- Pictures, tables, charts, and diagrams should be in black and white.
- The APA style of writing should be followed throughout the text and in references.
- Correspondence will be made only with the principal author.
- Paper presenters will receive certificates at the conference after paper presentation by at least one of the authors and registration by all authors, if certificates for all authors are required.
- Accepted full papers must be submitted with the registration fee in order to be considered for publication in the conference proceedings.

Besides holding annual conferences, Librarian Development Programmes (LDPs) are a significant and regular feature of MANLIBNET activities geared towards the professional and educational enhancement of LIS professionals. In memory of the founder president of MANLIBENT, Shri Ashok Jambhekar, the Ashok Jambheker Memorial Lecture was started in 2007, and since then MANLIBNET has been organising the same on a regular basis. MANLIBNET also organises seminars, webinars, panel discussions, etc. in collaboration with various academic institutions.
MANLIBNET promotes outstanding library practises by identifying the Best Librarian from the community of information professionals and recognising their academic and professional work annually. The MANLIBNET Best Paper Award is to incentivize library professionals who contribute research papers to MANLIBNET annual conferences.
To promote research in LIS, MANLIBNET-Bharat Book Bureau International Travel Grant Award is given to MANLIBNET members for presenting an original and unpublished paper at an international library conference held outside India.

One of the largest cities in the state of Uttar Pradesh, Ghaziabad is also known as the most well-planned and well-developed city. All the industrialization that Ghaziabad has seen over the past decade has made the city one of the most sought-after cities in the state and in Northern India. Ghaziabad is the first city on the route to Uttar Pradesh from New Delhi and is called the “Gateway of UP”. Situated close to the country’s capital, Ghaziabad is a modern and very urbanized city in Uttar Pradesh. The nearest metro station is Shaheed Sthal, called “New Bus Adda.” It is on the Red Line and is approximately 4 km from IMT Ghaziabad. The nearest interchange is at Kashmere Gate, which intersects with the Yellow and Violet Lines.
