Students of the PGDM program earn their credits through compulsory courses, specialization courses and the Summer Internship project. The rigorous nature of the program equip the candidates with necessary hard and soft skills to eventually excel in the leadership role. The program offers various streams of specializations from the various functional areas and the students can opt for their chosen specialization domain. The PGDM program architecture is updated continuously, The Post Graduate Diploma Program in Management – Dual Country Program (PGDM – DCP) of IMT Ghaziabad, is a premium offering designed to equip budding managers with global ambitions to the changing realities of the Global Economy. Participants of the program spend multiple terms in campuses in Ghaziabad and Dubai for undertaking the course work. The rigorous two year full time program is interspersed with international internship, short-term, and long-term projects, international immersion modules and equip the candidates with the necessary hard and soft skills to immerse and excel as a global leader. The revamped In the academic year 2019-20, IMT Ghaziabad launched the AICTE approved PGDM-BFS Program in partnership with Vlerick Business School (VBS), Brussels. VBS is one of the oldest and most reputed business schools in Europe with triple accreditation (EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB). The mission of the PGDM-BFS program is to support banks and NBFCs with professionals in their endeavor to become world-class. VBS and IMT have jointly developed the program architecture. VBS faculty delivers 40% of the courses. The PGDM-BFS is a two-year full-time program, designed to cater to the growing needs of management professionals in the BFS sector. The keeping the contemporary industry needs in view, to prepare students for their long-term career goals. Students are exposed to contemporary courses like Design Thinking and Innovation, simulation-based courses, Negotiation Skills etc. The students are offered specialization courses before their summer internship and hence can contribute better to the industry during the internship. In the second year, students are exposed to contemporary elective courses, delivered not only by the in-house faculty but also by the alumni, industry and senior professionals, thereby helping students meet their career goals. The overall thrust is to build an integrative approach into the curriculum so that students are focused on functional activities without losing sight of the big picture. program architecture offering super specializations in Advanced Quantitative Finance, International Trade and Logistics, and International Business and Law trains the participants to acquire nuanced and specialized skill sets necessary for accelerated careers in global settings. All the students complete a mandatory business consulting project with an organization of repute in Dubai/UAE. The Middle East Business Immersion cohort ensures that the students are fully immersed in the business landscape of the Middle East, to prepare them to handle global business complexities. program aims to provide students with contemporary skills and knowledge that are relevant for managing the core operations of firms operating in the BFS sector. On completion of the first year, all students undergo a Summer Internship Program (SIP). This helps them to gain hands-on experience in the application of management concepts and functional skills. The students work on projects specified by the company in which they do their SIP under the supervision of a company executive and a faculty mentor.
