Brew-A-Career, a national case study competition conducted by SABMiller, India, saw IMT Ghaziabad compete against India’s top B-schools to win summer internships and a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000.

The team representing IMT-The Millennials, comprised of strangers, but only initially as they eventually went on to become the best of friends.

The team started with formulating the outline for the strategy but they soon realized that they were missing something- The basic guidelines. This is where the seniors and professors came into the picture and ensured that the team was fully equipped with the fundamentals.

Their hard work paid off. The team was among the seven selected from the campus. With this began the second round of intense preparation wherein the team went a step further and consulted industrial experts. Eventually, the D-day came and they were prepared for the battle.

The results were out and they were declared as the campus winners. Following a week of intense preparations the team flew to Bangalore to present in front of the board of directors. The venue was Taj Vivanta and the setup as quoted by one of the team members “was grand and awe-inspiring”. There were 10 teams that were chosen from a pool of396 teams across 14 campuses.

The board was impressed with the presentation and even conveyed the same. The rest is just history.
