Dr. Ekta Srivastava is a fellow of IIM Lucknow and graduated in 2016. Her doctoral research was focused on the emotion of ‘nostalgia’ in the domain of advertising and understanding its implications on consumers. She has published her doctoral research in Marketing Intelligence & Planning and Asia-Pacific Journal of Marketing & Logistics. She teaches core marketing courses, consumer behaviour and advertising. She has taught at different places in India & abroad – Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherlands), IIM Lucknow (Main campus), IIM Rohtak and IIM Lucknow (Noida Campus). She has worked as an independent consultant in Europe to enhance her understanding of international markets and did projects for Euromonitor International (a market intelligence firm based in London). She is also a qualified dentist and has practiced dentistry in past in private and government hospitals. She takes interest in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research.
