Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad (IMT Ghaziabad), established in 1980, is India’s premier management school. IMT Ghaziabad has been set up under the aegis of Lajpat Rai Educational Society (LES), a society duly registered under Societies Act 1860, Government of India and is among the first few schools in India to be AACSB-accredited. IMT’s Common Admissions process enables candidates to apply to eligible two-year PGDM programs across IMT campuses through a single application. Candidates can indicate their preferred programmes and campuses as part of the application process.

Through the Common Application, candidates can apply for eligible PGDM programmes offered at IMT Ghaziabad, IMT Nagpur and IMT Hyderabad. Programme availability and eligibility may vary by campus and admission cycle.

Candidates must hold a recognised bachelor’s degree and meet the minimum academic and entrance examination requirements specified for the programme. Eligibility criteria may vary by programme and campus, so candidates should refer to the respective programme details before applying.

IMT accepts CAT 2026, XAT 2027 and GMAT* scores for applicable programmes. CMAT scores are accepted for IMT Nagpur, subject to the programme-specific eligibility requirements.

No, work experience is not mandatory for admission to the eligible programmes at IMT Ghaziabad. However, work experience, professional qualifications, entrepreneurial experience and other achievements may be considered as part of the candidate’s overall profile during the selection process.

IMT considers multiple factors while shortlisting candidates, including academic performance, competitive examination scores, work experience( if available), professional qualifications and the overall profile of the candidate.

The application processing fee is ₹3,500 plus applicable bank charges. The application fee is non-refundable after submission of the application.
