The prestigious Philips Blueprint 2013

IMT Ghaziabad's team 'Hammer' successfully lived up to their name by nailing the prestigious Philips Blueprint 2013 and ending up as the National Runners Up. Aarthi MC, Prateek Savla & Saket Kochhar of 2nd year made their way through a gruelling 5 step evalauation process over a period of 3 months and emerged in the Top 3 from more than 1350 registered teams from the Top 25 B Schools. Not stopping there, the entire team won PPIs from Philips for their excellent performance & presentation, with Prateek Savla successfully making it to the Philips Business Leadership Program 2014.

Talking about their experience, the team says that "Blueprint is an innovative competition which actually gives you a chance to recommend solutions which Philips is looking forward to implement. They encourage you to innovate freely and without boundaries, keeping yourself alligned to Philips overall vision & mission." What was their big idea? The team says that they brainstormed on a plethora of ideas from all three categories- Lighting, Healthcare & Consumer Lifestyle, and finally zeroed down on a food automation strategy for Philips. Doing extensive primary & secondary research, they brought out various insights which were much appreciated by the entire Philips Board.

What was the best part about their entire experience?
"It definitely has to be the informal networking session with the other finalists from the top 10 teams and the entire Indian management team after the national finals. It is not every day that you get a chance to have drinks with the CEO and business heads of a company, discussing everything under the sun", the entire team unanimously agrees.
