There are a wide variety of research interests at IMT, broadly grouped in the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Strategy & Economics and Information Technology. The nature of particular research projects in these areas ranges from applied research to the generation of fundamental knowledge in the Business Management and Information Technology. To encourage the research activities, Institute has well-developed research facilities, which include subscriptions to the: several research databases, statistical and simulation packages, high-powered computing facilities and a well-stocked library. Besides, institute also provides the seed-money for the faculty research projects.
