Program Overview

The global competitiveness along with the regulatory environment has created new dynamics for management students and managers. Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights has become an imperative, so has their application in the corporate world.

The Legal Cell at IMT, Ghaziabad in collaboration with the CII, New Delhi has initiated a three days residential MDP at IMT, Ghaziabad followed by a Two Months Certified Course on IPR and Management Strategies with the following objectives:-

• Acquire a concise understanding of Intellectual Property Management through New Research, Projects, Case Studies and Presentations.
• Provide an easily accessible and user friendly environment for taking the course.
• Benefit from the practical expertise of India’s leading IPR practitioners.

The key objectives of this programme include

• To expose the participants to the criticality of emerging field of Intellectual Property Rights and the constituent elements viz Patents, Copy Rights, Trade Marks, Industrial Designs, Geographical Indications etc.
• To provide the participants/ trainees with orientation of modalities to procedural perspectives of these IPR issues.
• To provide participants with opportunity(ies) of interacting with experts in the area for soliciting solutions to their present and potential business concerns.
• To provide a platform to the entrepreneurs, corporate managers to think and exchange the ideas and practices in safeguarding their business interests concerning IPRs.
