| Additional rules applicable only to full time scholars |

a) Each scholar is required to work with his supervisor in helping him in his research work and document the outcome of this collaborative work as a research paper / report. Alternatively, a scholar could also assist his supervisor as a teaching assistant supporting him in the teaching of a PGP course or assisting a faculty member in organizing seminars, conferences and field studies.
b) IMT extends financial aid of Rs. 12,000/- (Rupees Twelve thousand only) per month to full time research scholars. The financial aid is subject to revision from time to time.
c) IMT also extends financial aid to cover registration fee only, to present a paper at conference / seminar organized in India limited to two times a year.
d) A full time scholar shall be eligible for a total leave of 10 days in an academic year on proportionate basis.

| Hostel Fees |
| |
Hostel facility in the campus to the Ph.D. scholars is provided only on the case to case basis. Those who are provided with the hostel facility will have to pay the normal hostel fee as per the IMT rules. The Ph.D. students can take food in the IMT mess and will be pay their normal mess bill. |
