Library is the nerve-centre and the heart of the institute and plays a vital role
in supporting, teaching and learning activities, and provides the main source for
individual research at IMT. Library is meant to help academic community to keep
abreast with the latest development in their area of activities and to provide information
support for research and consultancy. At the same time for students, library is
a source to get information support for their course curriculum as well as for their
self-development. A well-stocked full automated library equipped with latest books
and journals on business management and information technology related area. Library
focuses on electronic delivery of information and library resources accessible through
web & local area network.
The Library works round the clock including Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate
access to the students.
The Library is operating in a fully automated environment and also equipped with
Electro Magnetic Security System (EMSS) by 3M.
Library has very rich collection of e-books, e-journals, corporate & industry
information and country research databases such as Blackwell Reference Online,

IMT has license agreement
with Harvard Business School Publishing for using case studies, articles, simulations,
videos and multimedia cases for classroom teaching.
Library has institutional membership of American Information Resource Centre (AIRC),
British Council Library (BCL), Management Libraries Network (MANLIBNET) and Developing
Libraries Network (DELNET) to full fill information needs of faculty and students.
Library also extends their services to outside users (i.e. individual, institutional
and corporate membership) with ‘external membership scheme’.
