Dr. Vijay P Ojha received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, and was subsequently awarded the Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship for a post-doctoral stint at the Environment Department, University of York, United Kingdom. Prior to his doctoral pursuit he had earned two Master’s degrees in Economics and Operational Research from the University of Delhi. His areas of expertise in teaching and research include Macroeconomics, Quantitative methods in Economics, and Indian Economic Development. Among the positions held by him in the past are : (i) Associate Professor in Economics, Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, (ii) Visiting Fellow, Environment Department, University of York, United Kingdom, (iii) Senior Consultant, National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi (iv) Visiting Fellow, Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies, New Delhi, (v) Associate Professor, WTO Centre, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, (vi) Reader, Development Planning Centre, Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi, Delhi.
