Present Position

Presently working as ‘Professor’ in the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad in the area of Economic Environment & Strategy. His job profile is to teach Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) students (Courses such as Managerial Economics, Macroeconomic Analysis, and Business Environment), publish and present research papers in journals and conferences respectively, undertake projects & consultancy assignments, organize Management Development Programs (MDPs) and seminars, guide PGDM students for their Summer Projects, and supervise Doctoral students.

Academic Experience

Worked as ‘Associate Professor’ in the Goa Institute of Management in the area of General Management from February 3, 2006 to March 19, 2007. I was teaching courses such as Managerial Economics, Macroeconomic Analysis, and International Trade & Financial Management to PGP and EMBA students.

Worked as ‘Faculty Member’ in the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) Business School at Bhubaneswar Centre from April 21, 2003 to January 31, 2006. I was teaching courses such as Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics & Business Environment, Business Research Methods, and International Trade & Finance to MBA students.

Worked as ‘Associate Fellow’ in the Centre for Economic and Social Studies at Hyderabad (an Indian Council of Social Science Research Institute) from March 10, 2003 to April 17, 2003. Corporate Experience

Worked as ‘Economist’ (Manager in Grade ‘B’) in the Department of Research and Policy Planning (DRPP) of the Unit Trust of India at Mumbai from April 29, 1999 to March 7, 2003. I was analyzing and forecasting various macro-economic variables and giving suggestions to Fund Managers and senior officials regarding the Market Behaviour; computing Yield to Maturity (YTM) of Govt. Securities daily on the basis of SGL last traded prices supplied by the RBI & supplying to NAV Cell, preparing research reports such as Monthly Economic Review, Weekly Economic Update, Money Market and Forex Review. Also preparing Special Unit Scheme 99 Report for the Ministry of Finance, co-ordinating for the preparation of Annual Report 2000-01, preparing sales, repurchase and investment memo for the Board and the Executive Committee for internal circulation, impact analysis of Union Budget and Credit Policy of the RBI.

Worked as ‘Deputy Editor’ for the Scientific Data Bank (P) Ltd., MacMillan India Ltd. At Bangalore from January 1 to April 24, 1999. I was technically editing articles of Science and Economics Journals, and Books pertaining to various Elsevier and Pergman publications just before their final appearance.
