Reema Khurana is a PhD in the area of Open Databases and Information Integrity from SNDT University, Mumbai. She has done M.S in Software Systems from BITS, Pilani and MCA from IMT, Ghaziabad. She has over 17 years of experience as a software consultant and in post graduate business education design and delivery. Prior to joining IMT, she has worked with NIIT Ltd in the capacity of Associate Consultant. She was awarded employee of the year in the year 1993-94 by NIIT Ltd. At NIIT she has been extensively involved in ISO 9001 processes and practices implementation across education delivery centres facing surveillance and pre certification audits as Group Leader (Systems and Placement). She has been involved in consultancy assignments in the area of software requirements elicitation and design for Inventory Control modules for Omega watches and Indian Army Canteen.

She has published papers in several national and international journals. She has been presenting papers, case studies and tutorial at various international conferences. She has hosted International Conference on Information Systems Technology and Management 2008 (ICISTM 2008) in the capacity of the Program Co-Chair in World Trade Center, Dubai. This is a rolling event, jointly being organized by IMT and University of Florida. This year she is involved in ICISTM 2009 (due to happen in March 2009 in India) as a Conference Co-Chair.

She has authored a book on Windows NT Server and co-edited the proceedings of ICISTM 2008 and ICISTM 2009. She is a recognized guide of M.Phil students in YCMOU university, she also an examiner in University of Pune. She has guided more than 90 MCA and M.Tech dissertations. She is a key resource person in the area of Information Integrity. She has been actively involved in creating, organizing, expanding and disseminating knowledge about the Integrity of Information and Information Systems, so as to develop Information Integrity (I*I) as a recognized field of knowledge She has delivered several seminars and talks in the area of Information Integrity in places like IIT Mumbai, SNDT Mumbai, Kashi Bai Navale College of Engineering, Pune, CIIR –Pune. She is actively involved in the Center for Information Integrity Research at Pune, Delhi and IME, Ghaziabad. She has organized MDPs and training sessions for PSUs like ONGC, BHEL and NTPC; and has also been involved in extensive training programs for private companies like CMIL, Coke, Thomas Cook and Omega Watches. She is also on the on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Information Technology and Management, Springer Publications as a Guest Editor. She has successfully spearheaded the teaching of Information Integrity Technology and Information Technology Infrastructure Library in IMT to PGDM second year students. She is also a U-21 Pedagogica accredited faculty.

Her current teaching interests include Analysis and Design of Information Systems, Software Project Management, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming Systems, Database Management Systems, Business Modeling using System Dynamics, Information Integrity Technology ,IT in business, Software Engineering Management and Information Technology Infrastructure Management. Her research interests include Information Systems, Information Integrity Systems and e-education delivery mechanisms.
