Dr. Raghavendra G. Rao received his Ph.D. (1997) from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium in Interdisciplinary Environmental Sciences. He was a recipient of the European Unions Doctoral fellowship and initiated research in International Scientific Cooperation (INCO) project of EU between Belgium and India. Prior to that, he has also worked in a Science and Technology for Developing countries (STD) program of EU between Belgium and Kenya. Dr. Rao's teaching and research interests are multidisciplinary in nature mostly focusing on Environmental Policy, Environmental Management, Business Ethics, Green Marketing and Corporate Governance. His expertise comes from his association with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (Nagpur, India), and Center for Environmental Management of Degraded Ecosystems (University of Delhi). Before joining IMT, he was with ICFAI (Hyderabad, India). Currently, he is associated with Centre for Environmental Management at IMT.
He has 15 research papers published in journals of international repute; edited several international project reports; and three books related to environment and ecology.
