Attendance Requirements

Institute insists on regular and prompt attendance in classes. Minimum attendance is 80 percent of total scheduled sessions for a particular course (that is, attendance in at least 16 out of 20 classes in each course). The institute management is very strict about this rule. Any student, who fails to meet the same in any course, is subject to face grade losses in the particular course. Attendance requirements will not be waived in case of sickness, except in extreme cases of illness, like those involving forced hospitalization.

Missed Examinations/Quizzes

Students are not allowed to miss any quizzes, examinations, presentations or course submissions without taking prior permission from the PGDM chairperson. For each missed component, the student will be awarded zero marks. In case a student falls seriously sick before exam, he/she would be expected to convey the same to the Academic Programmers Office (APO) through email, phone or personal contact, BEFORE THE EXAM. In such cases a re-examination may be organized for the student, at the discretion of the APO office.

Student Activities

IMT students organize academic, corporate, cultural and social events through their various clubs and committees.

Some of these events are:

Crossroads- A business and fun event conducted by International Relations Centre.
Tatva and Passion - conducted by Student Affairs and Welfare Council.
Marketing World Cup – by the marketing club, Markup.
National HR Summit - by HR club HRuday.
Chakravyuh - organized by the sports committee, Sportscom.etc.

All these events are conceptualized, designed and organized by the students. The management gives them full autonomy to take decisions and showcase their creativity to the fullest. This exposure provides our students with a platform to develop into all-round, socially responsible and successful global managers
